Accessibility Statement

The Division of Water Resources is committed to providing all individuals with a customer experience that ensures equal access to information, as required by WCAG 2.1 Level AA, in a way that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

In keeping with that goal, the division has developed a master plan for compliance. However, the division appreciates that all users may not be able to access all information provided on the division’s website at all times. Additionally, some information is historical, archived, or otherwise challenging to format to the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard, due to the nature of the document itself, limitations on available technology and available legal exceptions.

To ensure your request is handled efficiently and appropriately for the issue you are experiencing, please include the following with your request:

  • Your name and (if applicable) the entity you represent;
  • Your contact information, including your preferred method of contact;
  • The specific document(s) you are trying to access; and
  • The date you attempted access and a brief explanation of the issue or error code you encountered.

Including this information allows the division to pinpoint the specific issue you are encountering and take reasonable steps to assist you.

If you would like to leave a general comment regarding accessibility concerns, the division maintains a public feedback form accessible by clicking the Give Feedback button found on the side of the window. The division periodically reviews these public feedback submissions as part of its ongoing efforts to serve the public and to improve accessibility of the division’s websites.
