The Development Branch of the Division of Water Resources has three sections:

• Project Funding Section – assists the Board of Water Resources to analyze and provide funding for water efficiency projects all over the State.
• Design and Construction Section – provides design and construction engineering services for water projects in the State
• Geology Section – provides geologic expertise to the Division of Water Resources, Board of Water Resources, and State of Utah
